As I was enjoying walking around in one of the biggest Bookshops in Amman, doing some basic stationary shopping for my office…
And since Valentines Day is in two days, it’s too hard not to notice all the red gift boxes, teddy bears and candles that are in every corner…
I started imagining getting a -NOT RED- box full of all kinds of personalized stationary, with lots of small colorful notepads and sticky notes, and lots of pens and pencils of all colors!
I believe that people don’t need Valentines Day to show their love, or buy gifts, and it must not be an obligation to exchange gifts at any occasion because gifts will then lose its meaning… a gift is a way to show different feelings… Then it’s related to when you have those feelings not when you MUST give the gift…

I'm a huge fan of pink and yellow stuff which reminds me that I really need to buy some yellow eyeshadow (don't laugh, I make it look really good).
As an adult Valentine's was usually meaningless to me, this valentine's day my favorite makeup brand is coming out with a new line of colors so I've scheduled a makeover with them.
"Valentine's Day" is just a gimmick to sell cards. I like being spontaneous and telling people I love them any time, not just on one particular day.
I have a thing for staplers. Dunno why. I just like them. The bigger, the beefier, the more metallic, the better. Can't explain it.
Its crazy how people go insane with all the marketing gimmicks that are thrown at them on Feb 14th.
You don't need a specific day to tell the person you love that you care & love them. The smallest least expected surprise would tell them all that on any given day. I try to make the valentines day as normal as possible.
So you have a thing for stationery isn't it life...thats nice :)

Life, I am SO IN LOVE with stationary! Can't get enough! IT IS ADDICTION! I stay for HOURS to pick a notebook!

if you really like stationary you should come here.. there are LOVELY things! and most of times I don't even know what exactly are they! they have EVERYTHING .. all shapes.. all colors.. all designs! I would easily spend hours in the 'Officeworks' stationary retailer!!
